The Society of Ignatians: a dream beginning to become reality
- Deo volente, with the Church’s approval, in a diocese in the USA with which we are in the final stages of making arrangements, the first group of candidates of the Society of Ignatians will officially begin their formation on the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, July 31, 2018.
- The Society of Ignatians, following the usual procedures indicated by the Canon Law of the Church, will firstly be juridically recognized as an institution of diocesan right. From there, by God’s grace and with the Church’s blessing, it will continue on until it attains the status as a pontifical religious order whose members live according to the classic triple vows.
