Living to Live for You
Lord Jesus,
May I live in the midst of the world without wishing its pleasures.
May I be a member of each family yet belonging to none.
May I share all sufferings,
Guard all secrets,
Heal all wounds,
Go from men to you to offer their prayers,
Return from You to men to bring pardon and hope.
May I have a heart of fire for charity and a heart of bronze for chastity,
teaching and pardoning,
consoling and blessing,
Always.
My God, what a life!
And it is mine!
For I am yours, Lord Jesus Christ!
